Saturday Night Takeaway's Ant and Dec spark 'concern' from Nicole Scherzinger seconds into finale

Nicole Scherzinger raised immediate concerns for hosts Ant and Dec, as she guest starred in the finale of Saturday Night Takeaway.

After delighting viewers on home turf over the last month or so, the Geordie presenters took their hit ITV show, their co-stars and hundreds of viewers over to America this week, to take over Orlando theme park Universal's Islands of Adventure for a live end of series special in the sunshine.

And, following in the footsteps of the likes of David Tennant, Big Zuu and Toni Colette, Pussycat Dolls and X Factor star Nicole became the last Star Guest Announcer of Takeaway's latest run. Her role in the programme was revealed by This Morning host Dermot O'Leary on Friday, before being made official on ITV social channels.

Poison singer Nicole was introduced to the stage right at the start of the Takeaway finale; just after Ant and Dec had kicked off proceedings with a rendition of classic Land of a Thousand Dances.

After being asked how excited was she was to be in Florida, Nicole replied: "I'm here for this heat!" but then, addressing the presenters, remarked: "I'm praying for your precious little British foreheads right now. Tell me you smothered them in suncream!"

Ant swiftly replied by quipping: "Nicole, with my forehead I can't take any risks, believe me. It's very big!"

After checking on Ant and Dec's sun cream application, Nicole then took part in Saturday Night at the Movies, helping to win families in the theme park and one at home big cash prizes.
