This Country and Celebrity Gogglebox star Daisy May Cooper took the microphone as guest announcer on Saturday Night Takeaway - and opinions were split among viewers. She was clearly excited to be on the ITV show as she told hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly that she was "a masive PJ and Duncan fan".
Daisy, who won a BAFTA in 2018 for Best Female Comedy Performance for playing Kerry Mucklowe in the BBC Three series This Country, put her all into her role as guest announcer, reports the Manchester Evening News. However, social media user @loella47_51 complained that she was "loud" and TheRealDeclanK1 grumbled: "Daisy is so OTT."
@world_foolish tweeted with a fingers in ears GIF: "Daisy May Cooper." But @Wandoful took to Twitter to defend her, saying: "If you don't love Daisy May Cooper, then there's something seriously wrong with you and I would recommend a visit to your GP immediately…"
