Saturday Night Takeaway fans disagree as Ant forced to apologise

Ant McPartlin was forced to apologise to viewers during this week's instalment of Saturday Night Takeaway.

This week's guest announcer was none other than Hollywood star Toni Collette, who introduced various hilarious segments and special guests. And while she gave a great performance, the Australian actress was left red-faced as she accidentally swore during a chaotic game.

Ant had to apologise to viewers immediately for the profanity, but many watching at home said it "made their night".

Looking into the camera, Ant said: "Sorry if you heard some bad language, we hope it didn't spoil it for anybody". But viewers took to Twitter to say how it was actually the opposite.

Robyn said: "'Sorry if it spoilt anything'. Ant, if anything, Toni Collette swearing pre watershed made my entire night. Hilarious", while Michelle said: "I just love the fact Toni Collette swore what a legend she is".

Wyatt said: "I do love Toni Collette... you're terrible Muriel", and Ashley said: "Toni Collette has just gone up in my estimations".

Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway airs Saturdays at 7pm on ITV and ITVX
