Saturday Night Live UK announces comedian as next celebrity host

  • Jack Whitehall has been announced as the latest host for the UK edition of Saturday Night Live, fronting the show on 11 April.
  • He will be joined by singer-songwriter Jorja Smith as the musical guest for the 75-minute episode.
  • Whitehall follows in the footsteps of previous hosts Tina Fey and Jamie Dornan, becoming the fourth host before the show takes a short break.
  • Known for his roles in Bad Education and Fresh Meat, Whitehall is expected to deliver an opening monologue and participate in various skits.
  • The Sky Original show, which debuted on 21 March, features a different host and musical guest each week, broadcasting live from London.
