Sir Rod Stewart has pledged his support to a fundraiser for cancer -stricken Rangers legend Andy Goram.

The singer wanted to put his weight behind a dinner hosted by our columnist Tam Cowan.

Rod has now donated a VIP night at one of his gigs at the Hydro, Glasgow, on November 29 and December 3.

Two tickets, which will include meeting Rod, will be auctioned at Airdrie Working Men’s Club on June 22.

The Scheme "star" Marvin Baird is in mourning after his daughter was found dead days before she was due to appear in court on drug charges.

Danielle Hamilton was discovered on Sunday morning at the Kilmarnock home she shared with her dad.

Police are still investigating her sudden death but it’s understood that 26-year-old Danielle died from a drug overdose.

A devastated grandmother who was a EuroMillions winner for just '10 minutes' is now back living in her mouldy flat.

Margaret De Micheli thought she had scooped the whopping £34million jackpot when she checked her lottery tickets a few days later.

After picking up her EuroMillions ticket for the March 29 draw, she stopped in at the post office to check her results and was stunned when she was handed a slip confirming she had clinched the jackpot, the Mirror reports.

DWP provides up to £156 each week for more than 400,000 people with these neurological conditions

The Scottish Government recently announced that 19 projects supporting people with neurological conditions are to benefit from a third round of funding.

As part of a five-year neurological care and support action plan, innovative projects which harness new techniques and technology will be helped with £1 million commissioned for work across Scotland.

The award for 2022 to 2023 will also continue to support earlier projects as well as invest in new schemes.
