SAS Who Dares Wins starts up again next weekend and the new chief instructor of the show, Remi Adeke, has said that the UK has turned him into a "potty mouth".
Daily Star reported that the New York Bronx raised Navy SEAL said that because Brits love swearing so much, he's started swearing more than he did before.
The 39-year-old explained to the publication: "The show is where I cursed most in my life - it's a British effect and something I'm bringing to the table for the recruits.
"In my day-to-day life I definitely don't curse.
"I'm not perfect by any means, but I try to live as much of a straight life as possible.
"I act as well - I've been in a bunch of different movies, so I take off my everyday Remi hat and put on this character hat.
"This person needs to be hard and push his people past their perceived limits."
SAS Who Dares airs on Channel 4 and sees a group of ex-army officials put a group of lay recruits through the Special Air Services screening process to test their mental, emotional and physical strength.
The American actor, scriptwriter and Navy SEAL will replace the former SAS Who Dares Wins chief instructor Ant Middleton.
Ant was "let go" by Channel 4 last year after he had complaints made against him.
Last autumn Ant's final scenes were aired – which were filmed for the last series before he was axed from the show.
His return to TV screens last year came after The Mirror revealed that Ant had been fired after complaints had been made by over his "inappropriate comments".
Female members of crew raised concerns with makers Minnow Films and Channel 4 during an end of year review where they were allowed to speak anonymously.
Channel 4 bosses then vowed to never work with him again due to his "personal conduct".
And a spokesman for Ant Middleton refuted the allegations, claiming that he is "always disciplined and utterly professional".
On his new role, Remi has touched on the above issues and said that he has always had the "utmost respect for women" and has always had women to keep him in line.
He added: "Women are tougher than the SAS - especially in my life."
Remi recently took to Twitter to notify his fans and followers of his new SAS adventure, writing: "NEXT SUNDAY (4/10) the NEW WDW REGIME is coming with a whole new level of Brutality!!!!
"And we ain’t serving no spot a tea with your order of PAIN, motherlover!!!!"
