SAS: Who Dares Wins 2022 winners revealed after first ever all-female final

Channel 4 viewers saw two of the four SAS: Who Dares Wins 2022 finalists succeed and pass the course on Sunday night.

Shylla and Paige both passed the gruelling course after weeks of tough challenges.

It was the first ever all-female final on the Channel 4 series, as four contestants made it - but only two went all the way.

During the final episode of the seventh series, Chief Instructor Rudy Reyes announced who had been successful and which recruits had passed the selection course, deep in the Jordanian desert.

Paige and Shylla were pleasantly surprised and thrilled when they discovered that they had both passed the course, as they hugged it out.

Rudy had gathered the four finalists, including Claire and Cat, and told them that only two of them had made it - while he and the other members of the team praised all of them as "machines".

He said aloud: "What you need to pass this course is strength, grit, resilience and the spirit to drive on. You've all excelled, these men behind me and myself, we think two of you right now could fall in with us on operation and win the day."

The camera then panned to all four finalists, as he then revealed the winners.

He said: "Number eight step forward, 18 step forward, number eight number 18 congratulations, you have passed this course."

As the girls laughed in shock Rudy added: "Job well done," and he hugged them both - with the girls soon emotional about their success.

The other two finalists were told they did "amazing", and the four of them were called "machines".

As the crew told them they were "proud" of them and called them "bada*s", the winning pair celebrated their victory and were congratulated by the other two finalists.

After the show, Paige and Shylla reacted to their big win, and shared their thoughts on the tough series.

Paige confessed: "I cannot believe it. I literally feel amazing for it."

Shylla said: "It’s difficult to put into words, as it hasn’t sunk in yet. I feel proud and amazing that I've got this far. I got to the end, the very end, which is incredible. And I never thought I'd get that far."
