Of all the celebrities that could face a Celebrity SAS challenge, a lot of people would like to see the Tories under the cosh.
Especially the ex-special forces star of the Channel 4 series Jason Fox.
In fact, he’d be up for testing a whole series of Conservative MPs in their gruelling reality series.
His ideal victims? “Anyone working in parliament,” he declares.
Although some wouldn’t be worth the flight ticket - like former PM Boris Johnson.
“I would suggest (Jacob) Rees-Mogg maybe.”
Or, he supposes, Michael Gove. “Either or,” he laughs.
Jason refused to confirm if former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is confimed to appear in the upcoming series of the show (although given he’s been pictured taking part, it’s a given and widely known) but former DS Rudy Reyes said former I’m A Celeb weasel Matt was “worked like a freakin’ barbeque rib from my hometown of Kansas City” so rest assured he gets a pounding.
As per the opposition, Jason thinks the Labour party could be decent television stars.
“ Keir Starmer,” he said on board a canal boat to celebrate the Plymouth Gin Ocean Edition limited run of bottles.
“Nah he’s too obvious. I reckon [Angela] Rayner.”
It’s a shame Celeb SAS isn’t voted for by the public. They might all get the public fully engaged.
