Sarah Pidgeon is bringing a modern interpretation to the minimalist style associated with Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. The actress, who earned an Emmy nomination for portraying Bessette-Kennedy in Ryan Murphy's FX limited series "Love Story," was seen in New York on August 19 wearing a look that echoed her character's fashion legacy without copying it directly.

Pidgeon wore Khaite's Astor mini dress in an earthy taupe-brown, featuring a high cowl neckline and draped, textured folds with an angular wrapped panel at the back. She paired the dress with Khaite slip-on leather loafers with square toes and subtle gold hardware, and carried Balenciaga's slouchy Rodeo bag, worn deliberately unclasped.
