Sarah Millican has been confirmed as one of several comedy acts set to play Bristol Beacon after its grand reopening. The award-winning star is set to return to Bristol city centre next year for a string of shows alongside a whole host of star comedians.
The 47-year-old comedian, writer and presenter started her career almost 20 years ago, winning Best Newcomer at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Her career grew on shows such as Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You as well as a number of of her own live stand-up tours over the years.
Sarah joins a long list of familiar faces that will grace the brand new stage at the Beacon after a staggering five-year transformation. Joining Sarah at the prominent venue will be the Edinburgh Comedy award-winning comedian and ARIA award-winning broadcaster John Robins.

John is set to explore rage, anxiety and everything in between. Ross Noble will embark upon his 21st solo stand-up tour while Romesh Ranganathan explores the human experience after an incredible sell-out show last year.
The news comes after the historic Bristol Beacon announced its anticipated reopening on November 30, 2023. The extensive renovation includes the 2000+ capacity Beacon Hall, the 500 capacity Lantern Hall and the brand new 200 capacity Weston Cellar. The full reopening programme will be revealed later this year.
Tickets for Sarah Millican go on sale on Friday, March 17 on the Bristol Beacon website. She has announced dates on July 4 and July 5, 2024.
