Sarah Beeny was met with a wave of support as she showed off her new wig to her loyal fans.
The TV presenter and property expert, 50, unveiled her new 'do just hours after shaving her head due to her hair beginning to fall out in clumps as a side effect of her chemotherapy treatment, following the star's breast cancer diagnosis last month.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday [September 14], Sarah shared a picture of her hand holding a clump of hair, with the caption saying: "Sort of much harder that I expected it to be when it happened - in 24 hrs most hair fell out and I’ve shaved the rest off - onward and upward! X"
Returning to the social media platform 24 hours later, the Property Ladder presenter debuted a new hairstyle with her Instagram followers, as she revealed she may find wearing wigs 'more fun' than she initially imagined in her latest online update.
Captioning a snap of herself smiling as she wore a short blonde wig, Sarah told her 188,000 followers: "New day new wig - this might be more fun than I expected…!!! X."
The positive star was instantly met with supportive comments from her fans and famous friends, with comedic character Keith Lemon telling her: "Looks ace!"
"That’s one of the most natural looking wigs I’ve ever seen! Fantastic," one fan commented, as another told the star: "Awww love it! It really suits you! Thank you for sharing your journey Sarah this will help so many other women."
The star of Sarah Beeny's New Life In The Country previously admitted she had "a little bit of a breakdown" after receiving the news in a hospital consultation room and has vowed not to lie to her kids about her diagnosis.
Speaking of her diagnosis and support team, Sarah told the Telegraph : "I'm lucky because I live in a family where we all talk."
She told how her son had asked if she was ok before she told him of her cancer and had a chat with them all.
Sarah continued: "They just said, ‘You will be honest?’ and I said, ‘I promise you that I’m going to be around for a jolly long time yet. It’s going to be a bit difficult. But I promise I won’t lie.’ And I think they were OK once I said that."
The presenter, who has been married to artist Graham Swift since 2003, went on to add that she plans to draw on her "inner strength" throughout her treatment process.
Sarah been told the cancer has not spread and 'there is an 80 percent chance of a cure'. The inspiring star is adamant she will continue working throughout her battle and has her sights focused on a new Channel 4 series.
The Channel 4 star sadly lost her mother to cancer when she was just 10 years old. She had fought breast cancer before also being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
