Sarah Beeny admitted she has had a "fear of death" during her cancer battle in an emotional comeback on screen. The Channel 4 TV star spoke with hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas on BBC The One Show on Bank Holiday Monday (May 29).
She has opened up saying she has "lived with this fear for a long time", reports Birmingham Live. "I sort of always feared it. When I got to 39 which is when my mother died I thought here we are, and when I got to 40 I thought... ooh that's weird and then got to 50 and I was diagnosed," she said.
She shared: "I've lived with this fear for such a long time and actually once I realised how the treatment works, it's not as nearly as bad as the fear and I thought if I could talk about it, it keeps me busy."

Sarah also said she has had a "fear of death" during the ordeal. She was in the studio to promote her new documentary which documents her journey with breast cancer and shows the "highs and lows" of her battle.
The TV presenter, whose mum Ann tragically died of breast cancer at the age of 39, was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2022. Sarah has described her experience as a ‘rollercoaster ride’. Sarah previously said: “I’ve had so much support, I can't tell you how lovely everyone has been. It's been overwhelming."
In April, Sarah received an all-clear diagnosis. Sarah said at the time: “I feel very fortunate that I had the diagnosis that I did, and that I live in 2022-23, and that I’m the age I am. So many things that I’m fortunate for.”
