Sarah Beeny says people with cancer shouldn't be ashamed of their bald heads as she shared a stunning pic of her without hair.
The property expert, 50, told fans she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in August, posting a photo of her sons chopping off her locks.
Now the Britain's Best Homes star has shared a pic of herself on Instagram, completely bald - and completely gorgeous.
Sarah captioned the snap: "Enjoying the hair liberation before it all grows back."
Speaking about the stigma attached to people without hair, the mum-of-four said: “Having no hair often seems to be associated with anger,” she said. “You’re a victim or it’s a punishment, like Fantine in Les Misérables, or Cersei Lannister in Game Of Thrones.
“People are ashamed of their bald heads. The more I talk to people in this boat, the word I keep hearing is ‘shame’ and I thought: Why?
"If you’ve got breast cancer and you’re having treatment, the fact you have no hair is not a reason to be ashamed. I don’t want to be ashamed," reports Daily Mail.
Sarah said she wanted to "change the stereotype" after candidly admitting she had used dog clippers to shave her head.
Sharing a pic of her and her sons, she wrote: “A little pile of not very good condition hair on it’s way to @officiallittleprincesstrust – my trainee hairdressers cut off my hair – getting one step ahead after first chemo treatment for breast cancer on Friday – the exclusive club you’d rather not be a member of!”
Speaking about the effects of chemo , Sarah conceded it was “really traumatic” when “handfuls” of her hair began to fall out.
However, the star is still committed to her career, explaining she's focused on a new Channel 4 series and book she has planned for later this year. .
The star has four children – Rafferty, Laurie, Billy and Charlie – and married her husband, artist Graham Swift, in 2003.
The broadcaster is best known for presenting Property Ladder, Britain's Best Homes and Sarah Beeny's New Life in the Country.
Sarah is also a big fan of repairing homes at risk and lovingly renovated Rise Hall, a 32-bedroomed Grade II* listed hall in Yorkshire, which she sold in 2019.
