Sarah Beeny looks ‘fab’ in ‘natural looking’ wig amid breast cancer treatment

Sarah Beeny has shown off her new “natural looking” wig as she begins losing her hair amid her treatment for breast cancer, with fans saying she looks “fab.”

The former Channel 4’s Property Ladder host, 50, shared her diagnosis last month and has told her fans she is starting to lose her hair as a side effect of chemotherapy. Sarah took to Instagram on Wednesday (September 14) to reveal she had shaved her head after most of her hair fell out within 24 hours.

Her caption to the post said: “Sort of much harder than I expected it to be when it happened – in 24 hours most hair fell out and I’ve shaved the rest off – onward and upward!”

Posting an update regarding her hair on Thursday, the property expert amazed her fans by showing off her new “natural looking wig,” saying being able to change her hairstyle may be “more fun” than she once thought. Sharing a snap of herself smiling while sporting the “fabulous” blonde wig, Sarah wrote: “New day new wig - this might be more fun than I expected…!!!”

Fans and fellow celebs were quick to praise the TV star, as she was met with scores of supportive comments describing her as “incredible” and “beautiful.” Celebrity Juice presenter Keith Lemon said: “Looks ace!”

BBC’s Homes Under the Hammer host Lucy Alexander said: “You look fantastic.”

One fan wrote: “That really suits you and you can’t even tell, looks so natural! You’ve got this!”

Another added: “Wow what an incredible wig. You look incredible Sarah,” followed by a red heart emoji.

Following her diagnosis last month, the Sarah Beeny's New Life in the Country host told The Telegraph she had a “a little bit of a breakdown” after being given the news in a hospital consultation room. She revealed she will have a mastectomy and radiotherapy in the New Year and cut off her hair with the help of her family.

She said: “Graham was trying to cut it nicely, but the boys - well, they're not going to be famous hairdressers.”
