Sara Cox has laced up her trainers for a gruelling five-marathon challenge for BBC Children In Need with words of encouragement from Hollywood star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson spurring her on.
The BBC Radio 2 presenter, 49, who hosts the station’s weekday Teatime Show, began her extraordinary journey on Monday morning from Kielder Forest in Northumberland.
