Sansiri is holding the biggest lifestyle festival for sustainability to offer inspiration to anyone interested in changing and making the world better, at Sansiri Backyard, a 15 rai green area at T77 Community, On Nut Road, from tomorrow to Sunday, daily from 4-7pm.
Titled "Sansiri Let's Make Everyday Better", the festival will bring 11 green partners to present a range of lifestyle activities that are both fun, engaging and educational in three zones.
The first zone is "Climate Care Space" which will feature "The Polluted", a giant carbon balloon that illustrates the insane amount of toxic fumes that we produce each year; "SCB Sustainability Tree" which shows how SCB is driving its business towards environmental sustainability; and "Drive-Thru Recycling Station" that makes the handling of the recyclable waste easy, convenient, quick and correct.
Then, learn about the types of waste and the correct way for waste sorting at the "Waste To Worth Installation"; have fun with "SDGs Giant Jenga By UNDP", a roulette wheel game of sustainability goals; and shop for eco-friendly fashion accessories and upcycled products at a pop-up store.
The second zone is "I Am Good Market & Eatery" where guests can shop for fresh fruit and produce from local farmers and enjoy tasty dishes with plant-based food and a sustainable menu from 10 restaurants.
The last zone, "Eco-Workshops & Games", will be packed with many fun activities. A plant guru clinic will be there to dole out free useful advice on buying and growing plants that can filter carbon dioxide out of the air.
This is also an opportunity to enjoy urban farm activities right in the capital, such as collecting eggs; feeding sheep, goats, fish and little ducks; and picking organic vegetables to bring home.
