Sri Lanka great and Rajasthan Royals head coach Kumar Sangakkara is backing 15-year sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for a call-up to India's national team.
Sooryavanshi finished his Indian Premier League season with a sensational 96 off 47 balls, as the Royals suffered a seven-wicket defeat to Gujarat Titans in the second qualifier.
Sooryavanshi has been a standout this year and leads the IPL scoring charts with 776 runs from 16 matches, while also having broken Chris Gayle's record for most sixes in a season.
