According to the younger Wilson, his father died on Friday, January 31 at his home in Palm Springs, California. The actor reportedly passed away due to cancer-related complications, though his son did not specify the type of cancer his father was battling. In his message to the aforementioned news outlet, Wilson Jr. also shared some sentimental comments about his dad, saying “I loved him. He was a great man.”
