Listen, man. I totally understand collecting sports memorabilia and things of that nature. It’s well documented that I am the sneakerhead on For The Win’s staff — if anyone understands dumping money into fruitless hobbies, it’s me.
But there comes a time when enough is enough. And folks selling sand from the spot Tom Brady retired in is absolutely enough. It’s more than enough. In fact, it’s way too much.
As you know, Tom Brady retired from the NFL. He announced it in a spot on a beach in Florida. Folks on the internet decided to go to that beach and scoop up the sand from where he was at.
Now, it’s being auctioned off and the bidding is nearly at $100,000. Nah. I’m being totally serious right now.
A jar of sand from Tom Brady's second NFL retirement is going on eBay for over $90,000 😅👀 pic.twitter.com/5doditG9td

At this point, it’s up to $99,000, to be exact. Which, like, what are y’all doing???
Bruh. This is insane. Everyone is at a loss with this one.

It would be so much cheaper to literally go there yourself and get some sand lmao, why would anyone do that?!?! 🤦♂️😂 https://t.co/Ln0OfelDsV

You could fly there and get your own jar of sand for $88,000 less https://t.co/c1NE6K2qqQ
