HYDERABAD: To extend metro rail connectivity between BHEL and Lakdikapul and extension of Nagole to LB Nagar stretch as part of Phase II of the Hyderabad metro rail project, the Telangana government has asked the Centre to sanction the proposed jointly owned by Telangana and the Centre (on the lines of MMTS) with external financial assistance.
Telangana municipal administration minister KT Rama Rao on Monday urged union minister for housing and urban affairs Hardeep Singh Puri in a letter to propose Rs 8,453 crore for metro works in the upcoming union budget for 2023-24.
