Sancho and Sabitzer start - Manchester United fans name line-up they want to see vs Leeds

Manchester United will be without six players for the visit of Leeds on Wednesday ahead of the return trip to Elland Road at the weekend.

Casemiro serves the first of his three-game suspension picked up via his red card for violent conduct against Crystal palace on Saturday. Antony also misses the game through injury with Scott McTominay still sidelined.

Long-term absentees Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek are also unavailable while Anthony Martial sits out his 21st United game of the season due to his fifth separate injury setback of the campaign.

It means Ten Hag has his hand forced regarding selections in certain areas of the pitch. This includes Wout Weghorst’s likely seventh start of the season since his January switch.

United fans believe want him to get the nod from Ten Hag in their preferred line-up with 19-goal Marcus Rashford occupying his traditional left-wing spot. In the absence of Antony, they have chosen Jadon Sancho to start his first game since October on the right.

The winger made his long-awaited comeback against Nottingham Forest in last week’s League Cup semi-final tie and would have come on against Palace but for Casemiro’s red card, Ten Hag later confirmed.

Fans are also hoping to see Marcel Sabitzer make his his full debut. The Austrian, on loan from Bayern Munich for the rest of the season, entered the field against Palace on 81 minutes to help the team see out a 2-1 win.

The back line remains unchanged with Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Aaron Wan-Bissaka making the cut amid Diogo Dalot’s near-return to fitness. David de Gea continues his streak of starting every Premier League game.
