Samsung Electronics has announced the expansion of One UI 6.1.1, bringing the latest Galaxy AI features to a wider range of Galaxy devices through a new update. Starting in September, the update will introduce AI features from Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 to previous models such as the Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series. This update aims to enhance user experiences by providing advanced features in communication, productivity, and creativity.

Galaxy AI simplifies communication across languages with features like Interpreter2, which now includes Listening Mode on all expanded devices. Chat Assist allows users to effortlessly compose emails and social media posts by generating messages based on input keywords and personal style. Suggested replies, previously exclusive to Galaxy Z Flip6, will now be available on Galaxy S24 series devices, offering quick responses when connected to Galaxy Watch7 or Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Powerful Productivity From Anywhere
The expanded Galaxy AI features turn any Galaxy device into a productivity powerhouse. Note Assist6 streamlines meeting notes by providing translation and note summaries, along with a new transcript feature for voice recordings. PDF Overlay Translation7 enables easy translation of text in PDF files and images, while Sketch to Image8 enhances photos based on simple sketches. Circle to Search9 now offers advanced search capabilities with step-by-step instructions for solving math problems and a new Sound Search10 feature.

Galaxy AI empowers users to create professional-grade content with features like Portrait Studio11, which allows for instant creation of portraits in various styles, and Instant Slow-mo12 for seamless video slow-down with high image quality.
Availability
The software update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will commence in Korea on September 5, followed by North America and Europe on September 9. Updates for other Galaxy devices and regions will follow in the coming weeks.
