But tech giant Samsung has just released some of its lowest ever prices on high-spec tech to tempt shoppers, so anyone tempted to buy gadgets this Black Friday can now get some of the best deals ever.
With Samsung and Apple products vying to be top of Christmas lists each year, there are often some great discounts as the giants go head-to-head. But while Apple tends to throw in gift cards or streaming TV freebies with new products, Samsung has gone hard this year - cutting lots of prices by hundreds of pounds and even throwing in freebies on some purchases worth hundreds more.

Samsung's biggest discount this year sees one of its most robust and high-spec tablets reduced by a whopping 45%, bringing it down to almost an 'entry level' tablet price.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro tablet has been reduced from £619 to £339 for Black Friday, the lowest price it has ever been sold at.
Boasting 64Gb of memory and a 10.1 inch LTE screen, the Active Pro is ideal for using out and about or by users who might accidentally drop it, coming with a protective case that is not just shockproof but also water and dust resistant.
Meanwhile, the removable battery can be replaced when it runs down meaning users won't be let down by their tech no matter where they are - or how close to a plug socket.
The processing power of the Tab Active Pro does take it to the next level once you get back inside with it. Its high spec means it can effectively work as a hybrid computer in terms of capability, which can give a PC-like experience when connected to the Samsung DeX.
The DeX allows users to connect the tablet to a monitor just like a desktop computer, allowing them to use a bigger screen for projects that need a more detailed view.
