Samir Arora backed Helios Mutual Fund crosses Rs 15,000 crore AUM in 3 years, grows 200% in 1 year

Samir Arora backed Helios Mutual Fund’s Assets Under Management (AUM) crossed the Rs 15,000 crore mark, registering a growth of 200% compared to the previous year (August 2025). This milestone was achieved within three years of the launch of its first equity scheme in November 2023.

The fund house added Rs 5,000 crore to its AUM from April to August 2026 and this came at a time when equity markets were volatile and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East, added to the uncertainty faced by investors and businesses.

In November 2023, the fund house had an AUM of Rs 670 crore which went up to Rs 4,000 crore in April 2025 and to Rs 10,000 crore in April 2026. As of August 2026, the fund house had an AUM of Rs 15,000 crore.

“This milestone reflects the confidence investors have placed in our investment philosophy and processes. We have achieved this growth across varying market conditions by staying committed to our Elimination Investing framework(EI), which focuses on 8 screening factors,” said Dinshaw Irani, MD & CEO, Helios India.

“As we look ahead, our priority is not just to grow larger, but to continue building a high-quality asset management segment anchored in research, disciplined investing and strong governance, with the objective of creating long-term wealth for our investors,” Irani further said.

Helios Mutual Fund’s business is less than three years old. However, the leadership and investment team have experience spanning more than three decades in Indian equity markets. This experience has been used to establish the fund house’s research and investment processes and its approach to risk management.

The fund house has been rapidly expanding its distribution network and its market presence with over 18900 MFDs, 26 Banks, and 380 National and Regional distribution partners leading the product distribution not only in tier 1 but to tier 2 and 3 cities in India.

“Our growth journey has been powered by the trust of investors and the strong support of our distribution partners across the country,” said Deviprasad Nair, Chief Business Officer.

“As investor participation in mutual funds continues to deepen, particularly beyond the largest cities, our focus is on making our investment solutions accessible to a wider set of investors across all mediums, stronger distribution and deeper engagement through investor education. We remain committed to helping more investors participate in India's growth story through our Elimination investing philosophy,” Nair further said.

As of August 25, 2026, Helios Mutual Fund has crossed Rs 15,000 crore in AUM and caters to investors across more than 15,000 pin codes through its branch and distribution network.

Equity-oriented schemes constitute the largest share of the Fund's assets with an AUM of approximately Rs 14,356 crore, accounting for over 95% of total AUM. Hybrid schemes and debt-oriented schemes contribute approximately Rs 425 crore and Rs 285 crore, respectively.
