Sam Thompson was supported by his girlfriend Zara McDermott when he was taken to the hospital while having a 'really bad stomach'
Love Island star Zara took to her Instagram stories to share a selfie with Sam as they donned face masks in the hospital.
"Had to take this guy to the hospital. He's not been very well for the past few weeks and we got some complicated blood results back," she wrote. "Hopefully everything will be all ok."
The 25-year-old previously revealed that her 29-year-old boyfriend has not been feeling well 'for the past few weeks'.
Made In Chelsea star Sam also shared a health update with his 1.4 million Instagram followers.
Speaking from the comfort of his bed at the home he shares with his girlfriend, Sam explained: "So I haven't been very well recently and I have got a really bad stomach."
He then sighed as he held up a stool sample test bag and tube.
"I know I have got to be an adult about it but there is something about having a number two, turning around, scooping it up and putting it in a jar to then place in front of a doctor's eyes that is just getting to me," he added.
His health woes come after it was reported that Sam and Zara have possibly changed their mind about starting a family after getting close to his sister's baby Leo.
Sam has been dating Zara since 2019 and had recently said he was reluctant to start a family just yet.

A source told new! magazine: “Zara has been spending lots of time with Louise’s baby and posting lots of pictures. She has always been the one who is forward-thinking in terms of having a family – it’s definitely in the forefront of her mind.
“Sam was the one who has put it off, but it’s now becoming a bit more equal in their relationship. After what Louise went through, it may have made him think about his mortality, life and having a family.
“A lot of their friends have started to pair off and marry and have kids. Having that influence around him is probably going to turn his head to the idea.”
Louise almost died during childbirth and has been suffering from PTSD and other problems since.
