Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott were left in hysterics as they discovered thieves had dumped their stolen suitcase.
The 29-year-old Made in Chelsea star shared details of the theft on social media, as he told his followers on Instagram that his and Zara’s car had been broken into, and her pink suitcase had been pinched.
Sharing a picture of the damaged car, he wrote: “Our car got broken into, and someone stole my girlfriend’s suitcase.”
Former Love Island star Zara, 24, pleaded for the safe return of her belongings, and said she’d had the luggage since she was 15.
“Whoever broke into our car last night, I genuinely don't care whatever you took. But if you could just please return my pink IT luggage fabric suitcase that I've had since I was 15,” she said.
However, Sam interrupted his girlfriend, as he jokingly told the thieves to “keep it” because he hated the “horrible” suitcase.
In a video documenting the incident, the reality star then shared a screenshot of a direct message he received from a follower, who alerted him to the possibility he had found the stolen case.
The helpful fan told Sam a similar pink suitcase had been dumped in Fulham, prompting the couple to go and hunt it down.
Sam then told the camera he was hoping it wasn’t Zara’s suitcase, as it meant that the thieves were so unimpressed with their stolen loot that they dumped it.
“Praying it's not here,” he said as they rounded the corner to see Zara’s luggage and the contents strewn on the path.
“There you have it! The terrible suitcase!” he laughed. “They've dumped your case because it sucks and they don't want anything to do with it.”
Sam was hysterical as he discovered they had also ditched his brown suede boots, along with Zara’s clothes and eye masks.
“These boots have been with me through thick and thin!” Sam exclaimed, as he feigned shock that the thieves had left Zara’s eye mask.
At the end of the clip, he walks behind Zara while putting the middle finger up at her suitcase.
In the caption for the video, Sam joked: “We got robbed and they didn’t want our stuff.”
