Sam Smith flashed their underwear while wearing a sheer white dress with friends in New York City.
The 31-year-old singer was spotted talking to a friend as they hiked up the caped dress to reveal a pair of blue striped shorts, and then pulled those down to show off racy black underwear.
Sam looked animated as they spoke to people while having drinks outside on the blustery day in New York, before heading to The Duplex in the West Village.
The Unholy hitmaker, who identifies as non-binary, teamed their white summer dress with a pair of tan-coloured cowboy boots, black and white socks, sunglasses and a chic snakeskin handbag.
Earlier this year, Sam discussed their issues with body positivity and weight, and has finally learned to love their body after years of self-confidence issues.
“Every time I went to the pool I felt self-conscious, but I forced myself to take my top off. It paid off because I now have the opposite of body dysmorphia. I look fabulous. I’m finally getting a tan. I’m burnt in places I’ve never been burnt,” they told The Sunday Times in January.
The singer said they were now “happier in my own skin”, and years of being told by their mother to embrace their body.
Sam is currently recovering after their tumultuous Gloria Tour, who was forced to cancel dates after contracting a virus that affected their voice.
In May, they walked off stage during a gig in Manchester after they realised “something was wrong” with their voice.
“During my third song, I noticed something wrong with my voice. I prayed it was just my voice waking up for the show but into the fourth song I could feel something was really wrong,” Sam wrote in an emotional statement on Instagram following the concert.
“I came off stage and have tried everything to get my voice back in gear but it won’t. I am honestly heartbroken I couldn’t finish the show tonight for you all. I love you all. I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry,” they added.
The Stay With Me hitmaker is also busy promoting their latest single Vulgar, which is a duet with Madonna.
