Sam Smith cancels gig mid-show after noticing something 'seriously wrong'

Sam Smith was forced to cancel their Manchester gig after only three songs due to issues with their voice.

The Stay With Me singer, who is set to perform at Glasgow's OVO Hydro this evening, was performing at the AO Arena on Wednesday night when the show was suddenly halted. After the entire venue was plunged into darkness due to a power cut, shocked fans were told to return to the foyer, the Mirror reports.

A 'heartbroken' Sam later released a statement on social media, explaining something was 'really wrong' with their voice.
