Sam Moore has left Cardiff by mutual consent with immediate effect.
The former England Under-20s No. 8 joined Cardiff from Sale Sharks in January 2020 - pledging his future to Welsh rugby having previously been caught in an Anglo-Welsh tug of war.
However, his time in the Welsh capital has been blighted by injuries, limiting him to just eight appearances for the Arms Park side.

And with Cardiff's back-row resources only getting stronger next year with Wales internationals Thomas Young and Taulupe Faletau heading to the Blue and Blacks, the decision has been made for Moore to leave with immediate effect.
It appears he's close to staying in Wales with a move to the Ospreys believed to be close.
Cardiff Director of Rugby, Dai Young, said: “I would like to thank Sam for all of his efforts at the club.
“With the resources we have in the back-row next season we cannot guarantee Sam regular game time and he leaves with our very best wishes.”
Moore was born in Cardiff and both his father Steve and uncle Andy played in Cardiff and Wales' second-rows.
But he moved to England at a young age, going on to wear the red rose at every representative age grade through from U16s to U20s, captaining the U18s.
That dual qualification led to a much-publicised battle for his allegiance, with both countries eager to have the strapping No 8 on board.
In 2018, Wales were keen on including the then 19-year-old in their Six Nations squad, only for England boss Eddie Jones to name him in his as an apprentice.
However, he was ultimately capped by neither country.
