Dumfries born actor, Sam Heughan was left "hurt" and "embarrassed" after fellow actor Richard Madden didn't recognise him during an event.
Heughan, who is best known for his role as Jamie Fraser in Outlander, graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2003 and worked as a waiter after being unsuccessful in finding acting jobs.
Both actors who studied in Glasgow at the prestigious school attended an event in London where Heughan, 42 was left reeling after the awkward encounter with The Bodyguard star.
