Sam Fox stuns in bridal gown as she finally marries girlfriend after Covid delays

Sam Fox and her fiancée Linda Olsen tied the knot in style on Saturday, after previously postponing their nuptials due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The former Page 3 icon, 56, looked incredible in a strapless white gown as she arrived at her wedding venue Epping Forest, Essex alongside members of her bridal party.

Sam's loved ones could been seen carrying her long, lavish train ahead of tying the knot with Linda, with the BRIT-nominated singer's wedding attire also featuring a sequined bodice and super-long eye-catching veil.

As she hitched up her dress on her way to walk down the aisle, Sam's footwear of choice - silver wedge heels - could be seen, as she prepared to become a married woman following her 2020 engagement.

Sam arrived at the Essex wedding venue in a white taxi decorated for the occasion - with the vehicle adorned with floral arrangements, pink ribbons and a number plate that read: "Sam and Linda are getting married, 18th June 2022."

The star's bridesmaids were also pictured arriving ahead of the exchange of vow - wearing stunning blush-pink floor-length gowns.

The happy couple announced their engagement in March 2020, four years after they first struck up a romance in 2016.

Prior to finding love with Linda, Sam was in a 12-year relationship with Myra Stratton, until her former fiancée passed away from cancer in 2015.

"It's been a difficult couple of years for me," Sam emotionally confessed on This Morning the year after the death of her partner and manager.

"The suffering is over… suffered for a good two years.

"She was told she was terminal two years before she died, so that was the most difficult time, the two years leading up to her death."

Later in the same year, the eighties pin-up revealed she had found love once again with Linda, during her appearance on Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother.

"I've now fallen in love with another woman," she told fellow housemates Marnie Simpson and Katie Waissel. "I met somebody a couple of months ago and I'm very happy. As you get older, life goes so quick."

Prior to entering the house, Sam revealed she signed up to appear on the reality TV star in honour of her late partner.

"Myra wanted me to do this. We saw the producers two years ago when Myra got diagnosed," she explained.

"Before she died she told me she wanted me to do it. She said, 'I think you'd be great – just go and do it. You'd be really good Sammy, people don't realise how witty you are and what fun you are'."

Sam also voted how her now-wife Linda jokingly wanted her voted off the show as early as possible - due to how much she would miss her during their time apart.

In June last year, Sam and Linda appeared on Loose Women, where they gave insight into their plans for the big day.

Confirming that it was Linda who proposed, panellist Frankie Bridge asked Sam if she was surprised when it happened.

"Kind of, I did hint!" Sam admitted, before adding: "I mean I’m getting on a bit now.

"When I met her, I knew I was completely in love with her and wanted to be with her forever."

Referring to the moment when she hinted about getting married, Sam said: "I was doing a concert in Slovakia and we stayed in a 16th century castle and I said, ‘wouldn’t it be lovely to get married here?’

"She waited until Valentine’s Day 2020 to ask me to be her wife. She got down on one knee and it was all very traditional, I cried, she cried."

Speaking about how they first met, Linda revealed she was a fan of Sam when she was younger: "When I was a little girl I was collecting her pictures, I was a big fan, she was my celebrity crush."

Years later Linda bought meet and greet tickets to meet the former Page 3 model at concert in Norway, and said there was "an instant connection".

The pair then spoke on social media and agreed to meet again at another concert and now - following Saturday's wedding - the rest is history!
