Sam Fender sends message to fans ahead of Glastonbury debut

Sam Fender has delivered a special message to his fans as he prepares for his first performance at Glastonbury.

In 2019, the English crooner was due to take to the stage at the iconic music festival, before he'd even released is debut album Hypersonic Missiles.

Prior to his album release, Sam was already gaining popularity with the album's title track and other songs like Play God and We Will Talk.

Sam had to pull out due to illness and his hopes were further dashed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Now after a two year break, Glastonbury has returned to Worthy Farm and Sam is finally able to have his moment.

On Friday night and after an already hugely successful year, Sam and his band will play to a massive crowd on Glastonbury 's famous Pyramid stage, reports Chronicle Live.

Sam joins a stellar line-up for the event's 2022 comeback, with acts like Diana Ross, Pet Shop Boys, Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish all lined up to perform.

As he headed down to Worthy Farm for the life-changing moment, Sam took to Instagram to confirm when he'll be on and add a message for fans who'll be there to see him

He wrote: I’ve always wanted to go to @glastofest and always dreamed of playing the pyramid stage as a young lad. Tomorrow, I’ll do both.

"See you down the front at 8.15pm."

Returning to social media to share a photo of himself next to him timeslot, Sam wrote: "Here we f**king go!"

Sam's 2022 has been amazing so far, with big wins at the Brits and NME Awards, sold out gigs across the world, including two capacity back to back gigs on home turf at Newcastle's Utliita Arena, a charity concert at the City Hall which raised over £130,000 and the announcement of an American tour.
