There are now just a matter of days until Sam Fender takes to the pitch at St James' Park, to play two massive gigs at Newcastle United's famous ground.
It was back in the autumn that Seventeen Going Under and Will We Talk star Sam announced that he'd be playing at the stadium, sparking a ticket frenzy from fans and forcing him to add a second date, as all tickets were snapped up within minutes of going sale.
And, now, after counting down for months to the June 9 and 10 concerts, fans are now getting set for a night to remember at St James' Sam's support acts were confirmed in full last week, just as the North Shields musician got to meet his biggest musical hero, Bruce Springsteen, having opened for him in Italy.
Sam's gigs at St James' will be the biggest to happen in the city this year, with Metro bosses issuing a warning to music fans on just how busy trains are set to get, especially given that the Blaydon Race is also on Friday, June 9 and Pink is playing the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on the Saturday and Sunday.
