Sam Fender's Newcastle support acts confirmed in full ahead of St James' Park gigs

Sam Fender has announced all the support acts who will be joining him for his eagerly awaited sell out shows at St James' Park in Newcastle in June.

It was back in the autumn that Seventeen Going Under singer Sam announced he'd be playing not one, but two gigs at the famous ground of his favourite football team, with him breaking the news in style, posting a video of him on the pitch of the now Champions League qualifiers.

As soon as the shows were confirmed, it was revealed that rising star Holly Humberstone would be opening for him and she won't be the only one who'll be sharing a stage with Sam.

San has has had quite a week; getting to meet his musical hero Bruce Springsteen as he and his supported the Born in the USA legend in Italy, before tuning it watch Newcastle United clinch Champions League qualification, with their 0-0 draw against Leicester on Monday night. He then had to break the sad news to fans that he had been told to pull out of a show in Milan, under doctor's orders.

Sam was the special guest at St James' the day after he announced his gigs there; walking onto the pitch at half time during the Crystal Palace game, before his saxophone players Johnny Bluehat launched into a rendition of NUFC anthem Local Hero.
