Sam Faiers has insisted she will never propose to her longterm beau Paul Knightley as she was quizzed on if she'd ever pop the question.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Sam, 32, has been in a relationship with Paul, 34, since 2014 and share three children; Paul Jr, seven, Rosie, five, and nine-month-old Edward together.
Throughout their romance Sam and Paul have faced speculation and questions over when Paul will propose to Sam. In 2019, when the pair jetted off to Venice, Italy, the rumour mill went into overdrive as fans suggested the romantic city was the perfect place to propose.
A year later, Paul even hinted at an engagement on The Mummy Diaries as he discussed their bond in lockdown.
He said: "I didn't think we could get closer, but we did and I think we’re one step closer to getting married."
However, a ring is yet to materialise for Sam. But, this hasn't stopped fans from asking when she will be getting engaged.
But the traditional former TOWIE star has insisted she won't be popping the question to Paul.
On her joint podcast with sister Billie Faiers, The Sam and Billie Show, Sam read out a question: "'Would Sam ever propose?'"
She was quick to respond as she insisted: "No! No, the guy should do it and I will leave it as that."
Billie then added her opinion, with a message for Paul as she said: "I agree, come on Paul, we're still waiting!
"We need a hen do to plan, we've had three children each we need a hen do."
Sam, who was recently slammed for moaning about a free holiday, then replied: "We don't want a hen do this year, next year would be perfect, yeah."
It comes after Sam revealed she and Paul haven't shared a bed together in eight years.
In a previous podcast episode, she explained her eldest two kids sleep in an emperor sized bed with her partner, whilst she sleeps in the spare room with Edward.
Sam said: "Our sleeping arrangements is Paul [Snr], Paul [Jnr] and Rosie in the big bed. And then I'm in the spare room with Edward." She added: "It's fine, it's not too bad."
The mother-of-three teased that it's "really funny" because when she goes in the couple's bedroom to get the kids ready for school, her partner is often "hanging off" the bed.
She explained on the podcast her eldest kids sleep in an emperor bed, which she said is the "biggest size available". Sam teased that despite this, Paul Snr still ends up being off the end of it.
Further discussing their sleeping arrangements, Sam said they are "used to it now" and added that it would be "so weird" if her and Paul Snr were alone in bed together now.
Asked if they are ever alone in their own bed, she said: "Never. In the last seven years, unless it's been a random night away in a hotel just us two, [we've] never been on our own in a bed".
