OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has issued one of his strongest warnings about the future of artificial intelligence. The tech billionaire said that the world has reached the technological singularity, meaning that humanity has entered a phase that once belonged only to science fiction.

"I've been waiting for this my whole life," he said on an episode of the "Relentless" podcast.
