Earlier titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and Bhaijaan, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has hands-down become Salman Khan’s career’s most revised project. Several actors (including Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma) were replaced even after shooting had begun.
One hears Khan has been calling the shots on this project from the start. Although officially it has Farhad Samji as director, Khan has been behind the camera through every inch of the project. He has also edited the film himself and may take credit as co-director.
One hears Salman has re-shot a sizeable portion of the film. As late as this week, Khan re-shot an entire family song featuring Pooja Hegde, Jassi Gill, Siddharth Nigam and Raghav Juyal all of whom play part of Salman Khan’s extended family in the film.
Kiski Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also has a substantial South Indian cast including Telugu stars Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu and Ram Charan, who makes a special appearance as a token of gratitude to Salman Khan for making an extended guest appearance in Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi’s Godfather.
