A row of businesses on a high street have been put up for sale despite not all shop owners being aware of the development. The corner plot in Arnold town centre is home to multiple independent businesses ranging from an Italian restaurant to a dog groomers.
The building which covers 98-102 Nottingham Road and 2-4 Arnot Hill Road, has been put on the market for a guide price of £795,000 and has been in the same ownership for over 20 years. It holds five businesses and a garage with parking space.
Owner of Dogz Grooming Salon, Chloe Haywood said: "I did not even know it was up for sale. I have just found out from you, I didn't know it was."

The 21 year old added: "I know they were talking about it last year but I did not know they were actually selling it. I am not really sure how it will impact me, obviously I do not know."
The owner and manager of The Bathroom Store knew about the property being put on the market and was told it was not going to impact the business. The Little Carpet Company have a shop in the building and said they were aware of the sale but did not want to comment further.
