Health Secretary Sajid Javid will hold a press conference on Wednesday afternoon, No 10 has said.
It comes after the Prime Minister announced that Plan B measures aimed at tackling the spread of Covid-19 are to be dropped across England.
Mr Javid will address the nation and set out exactly what is happening with Covid rules in England.
The changes announced so far include masks no longer being worn in schools from tomorrow.
From next Thursday people will no longer be required to work from home and Covid passports will no longer be needed to get into large venues and events.
From March 24, or possibly before, people will no longer need to self-isolate if they test positive for Covid.
Mr Javid could confirm rule changes around care homes and hospital visits.
He will also set out what, if any, rules will remain in place in England after January 26.
