With thunderstorm warnings in place this week and Glastonbury just nine days away, many shoppers are looking to update their wardrobe with a stylish raincoat that won't be too warm or bulky for the British weather. Being able to fold it up into a compact parcel is also ideal for festival packing, and one supermarket is selling a "lovely" option in a pretty pastel colour.
TU at Sainsbury's has released a pack-away raincoat priced at £18, which has a hood and elasticated cuffs to keep you dry during a downpour. The product listing states: "Lovely in lilac with a contrasting black zip and toggles, our packaway raincoat is perfect for those unexpected dark clouds.
"With two pockets and elasticated cuffs to lock in warmth. Designed with an adjustable drawstring waist for the perfect fit, it's lightweight, shower resistant and handy to throw on over any outfit so you can battle the rain in style."

One downside is that it comes in only five size options - small, medium, large, extra large and extra extra large (sold out online at the time of writing). However, the drawstring waist means the coat can be adjusted for those who prefer a more fitted style.
Currently lilac is the only colour listed online. If you're looking for something more neutral, Decathlon also has a whole range of foldable rain macs, with prices starting at £9.99 for a windproof and water-repellent hiking jacket.
Plus-size fashion brand YOURS is also selling a lightweight raincoat available in various colours, also with an adjustable waist, which is currently on sale for £13.50.
