Sainsbury's has announced another major change to its Nectar Prices initiative in a bid to help shoppers save more money on their weekly shop.
The supermarket giant has confirmed that its loyalty scheme, which was launched in April, will now include offers across dairy and bakery products for the very first time.
It is the second time in the past month that the grocer has expanded the money-saving initiative, with cardholders now able to find exclusive savings across more than 900 products both online and in-store.
The latest round of deals will see Nectar members save up to half-price across a variety of household brands, such as Cathedral Cheese which has been reduced from £4.75 to just £2.75.
Other dairy savings will include Philadelphia cheese which will cost just £1 for Nectar members, while regular shoppers will be charged £2.20. Yeo Organic Valley Semi-Skimmed Milk, which costs £2, will be priced at just £1 for cardholders.
There will also be a whole host of branded and own-branded bakery items now included in the scheme, such as Soreen fruit loaf for just £1 instead of the usual £1.50. Warburtons Bagels will also only cost £1 compared to its regular £1.85 price-tag.
A few family-favourite products from Sainsbury's Taste the Difference line can also be found in the latest round of deals, with the Taste the Difference Carrot Cake now just £2 instead of £3.
