Online shoppers are being warned of a fake website posing as Argos and Sainsbury's. The bogus site is pretending to sell air fryers and is asking people for their card details.
Scammers are running a fake Argos survey, which says people can win a Ninja air fryer if they fill it out. It takes people to a website that looks like the official Argos page but there are a number of red flags to watch out for.
For starters, the website address and email aren’t coming from Argos or Sainsbury’s official domain, and the currency is in dollars. Secondly, there is a timer warning, which is meant to urge people to fill out their details before the fake offer 'expires'.
