I couldn't find the bedding bundle I wanted – so, I built my own

Side view of oatmeal, white, and blue gingham prints on a bed against a beige wall. .

I started testing the Piglet in Bed Heritage 100% Linen Bundle in February 2024. At that point, I had a few bedding reviews under my belt. I used to receive sheet sets in crisp cotton percale or smooth cotton sateen, most often in white, but once in gray. Working with Piglet in Bed was the first time I got to create a bespoke bedspread and one of my first encounters with linen.

I loved it. As a hot sleeper, I appreciate the cooling properties of linen, which is woven from hollow flax fibers to boost breathability. The tougher, coarser feel of linen was new to me, but I grew to favor that texture over the slipperiness of sateen. Most of all, I was impressed by the range of warm and cool shades, as well as prints and patterns, available at Piglet in Bed.
