Safety notice issued after worker seriously injured at power station

A SAFETY improvement notice has been issued after a worker sustained serious injuries following a fall at Torness Power Station.

The incident occurred on May 12, when an electrician employed by Dalkia Facilities Ltd fell from portable steps while replacing a light fitting at the nuclear power station, near Dunbar.
