Sir Sadiq Khan has ignored calls from the London Assembly - including members of his own party - to earmark funding in his budget for a potential legal challenge against Heathrow expansion.
The London mayor has in recent weeks reiterated his opposition to a third runway at the UK’s largest airport, and has said he will “use any tool in the toolkit” to block the project.
