Westminster council has hit back at Sir Sadiq Khan in a furious row over pub and club licensing in London’s West End.
The local authority accused the mayor of overseeing cuts to policing and an “inadequate” public transport system, after he accusing it of putting the interests of a small number of residents ahead of attempts to make London’s nightlife the “best in the world”.
