Sadio Mane overtook former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba in terms of goals scored by an African player in the Premier League.
Mane was on the scoresheet as Liverpool dispatched six past a hapless Leeds United on Wednesday night to move within three points of league leaders Man City.
Mane found the back of the net twice in the last 10 minutes to cap off a wonderful night at Anfield.
And in doing so, took his tally in the Premier League to 106, two more than Drogba managed with Chelsea.
The Senegal attacker managed the feat in two less games, further highlighting just how incredible his time in England has been since joining from the Bundesliga in 2014.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp heaped praise on the two-goal forward after the final whistle, saying: "Sadio Mane's game was probably one of his best in the way he interpreted his role. Absolutely insane."
The only African player to score more goals than Salah is teammate Mohamed Salah., who scored twice from the penalty spot against Leeds to take his tally to 116.
