Sadio Mane showed a touch of class on Sunday evening, as he embraced his Liverpool team-mate Mohamed Salah following the Africa Cup of Nations final.
Mane's Senegal defeated Salah's Egypt on penalties to win the prestigious competition for the first time in his nation's history.
Both Mane and Salah had suffered defeat before in the AFCON final, with Senegal losing to Algeria in 2019 and Cameroon defeating Egypt in 2017.
Mane - who missed a penalty in the opening minutes of the game - was the hero, as he blasted in the winning spot kick in the shootout. Salah, meanwhile, didn't take a penalty.
The Egyptian was visibly emotional after Senegal's victory was confirmed and Mane was quick to realise, giving his club colleague a hug and offering his sympathy.

The victorious Liverpool star was lauded after the game for inspiring his country to glory.
"You can't help but smile for Senegal and Sadio Mane for what he has done for his country today," said former England midfielder Jermaine Jenas.
"He has put them on his shoulders and won it for Senegal."
Former Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure added: "I think they deserved it. Senegal missed a lot of chances but the most important thing about this is to win the trophy, the rest is details.
"Congratulations to Mane and Senegal."
Former Manchester City defender Nedum Onouha continued: "As he [Mane] walked up to take that penalty I bet all the Senegal players were excited because they know he is someone who can be trusted.
"Credit to Mane, he has developed an awful lot over the years. It is a shame for Salah that he has to go through the disappointment but that is football."
Salah was criticised by Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher for not taking a penalty. It's believed the Egyptian would've taken the fifth penalty if Mane had missed.
"That is why your best penalty taker should never go fifth," tweeted Carragher. "Mo Salah not taking a penalty for Egypt in a shootout in a final is madness."
It was an evening to remember for Senegal goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, meanwhile, who kept a clean sheet and was named the goalkeeper of the tournament.
"We are proud," said the Chelsea stopper. "We never won it before. We worked really hard to win this trophy and today we won as a group and as a country and that is why I am super proud.
"The shooters in the penalties did really well, I tried to do my best to save one shot and I did that, so I am super happy!"
Senegal captain Kalidou Koulibaly added: "We feel happy. We knew it would be hard to win the Africa Cup of Nations but today we made it.
"Our team deserved to win this title. We had been looking for this for a long time and now we have it. This team is magnificent.
"It was a tough game and a tough tournament. We made it with our team and our power. Our goalkeeper is the best in the world and we win the title."
