Archival Alexander McQueen recently found two very different modern interpretations on Sadie Sink and Carlacia Grant. Appearing at events on consecutive days, the actresses each wore designs from the British house's early-2000s collections, showing how historic runway pieces can be restyled for the present without simply reproducing their original looks.
Sink wore a Spring 2004 McQueen dress to Disney's D23 Fan Expo in Anaheim on August 14. As W Magazine reported, the sheer patchwork design has a drop-waist silhouette and intricate ruffles, while stylist Molly Dickson paired it with mesh heels and a loose, low braid.
The Stranger Things alum's footwear was clear heels with white-tipped detailing. Her hair was pulled into a relaxed low braid with loose pieces framing her face, while makeup artist Yukari Obayashi Bush created a soft, rosy makeup look.
