A heart-breaking film currently on Netflix has had people saying it’s “almost making them throw up” due to how intensely sad it is.
Lasse Hallström’s 2009 drama Hachi: A Dog’s Tale , is based on a true story, which involved a loyal Akita dog called Hachikō, back in Japan in the 1920s.
A synopsis on Netflix reads: “When his master dies, a loyal pooch named Hachiko keeps a vigil for more than a decade at the train station where he once greeted his owner every day.”
